OPEN TABLE MINISTRY

   Open Table Ministry began in 2016 with a desire to serve the homeless community of Long Beach, Gulfport, and is funded by the generosity of church and community members.  The name “Open Table” comes from our understanding that the table of Jesus is open for all persons to be loved and fed.   Open table feeds homeless persons at the 19th Street Park in Gulfport on the 2nd Saturday of each month.  Along with a hot meal, clothes, toiletry items, shoes, sleeping bags, blankets, and tents, and prayers are offered to those who come.

Open Table ministry also prepares and serves a meal monthly at   Seashore Mission,   a United Methodist Homeless ministry in Biloxi.
